I’ve posted about Café Montmartre before. It’s that neat little French/Vietnamese restaurant nestled away in a corner of Lake Anne Plaza.
The first time I ever went, it was 2012, this time of year. I remember I got some shrimp and rice dish. So, I decided to go back and try it again, as an anniversary dinner of sorts.
The tomatoes were probably my favorite part––acidic and complementary to the salty, rich broth. The shrimp were fresh. What more can you ask for? Not much.
The shrimp was served with a side of steamed veggies:
Oily and peppery, thanks to the pepper grinder that was offered to us as soon as we received our meals.
Now that the weather is starting to get a bit cooler, there isn’t much time before it’s too cold to sit outside anywhere. I suggest stopping by for a dinner as the sun starts to go down. It’s a great way to enjoy the remainder of the summer.
