Pork Chop and Fried Apples

So, this isn’t quite a recipe. This is just something I made for dinner the other night because I had some pork chops in the fridge and a Red Delicious apple sitting out on the counter.

I had no idea how well it would turn out, and you should eat this when you get the chance. I know it has a sort of “Fall” feel to it, but I’m straight up making this every week, I don’t even care.

First, I cooked up the pork chops. I seasoned them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Once they were done, I added the sliced apples, which helped deglaze some of the fond that had been built up on the bottom of the pan. Cooked them for about two minutes, and I was done.

It’s the best combination of sweet and salty ever.
